EMMA-GRADY-ARTIST.jpeg

Thanks to an artistic mother who inspired my sisters and I to paint when were were kids, I’ve been creating art ever since I can remember—from finger paints to water color—and it’s stayed with me ever since.

I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont where I studied fine art and art history and now live and work in New York City as an artist and writer.

While I’ve practiced every medium from drawing to sculpture, I’m most excited by abstract paintings on canvas and paper (plus, jean jackets!). I also have a selection of painted and printed greeting cards.

My signature style is recognizable for its high contrast colors, thick layers, bold brush strokes, drippity drops, and a rich depth and texture. My aim is to bring a feeling of joy and optimism to your space—or mailbox!
